Sign the CharterThe WAAEH Charter sets out what we stand for and how individuals and organisations can be part of the Alliance, support our Strategy and take action to end homelessness in WA.
When you sign the Charter, you agree to embrace our values, principles and mindsets and commit to the minimum actions for all Alliance partners. You can sign as an individual or an organisation.
Being tenacious in challenging unfairness and finding solutions to the underlying causes of homelessness, challenging ourselves, challenging our organisations and services.
Upholding the respect, dignity and self-worth of all individuals; providing a non-judgmental response; and striving for everyone to have a safe, secure and affordable home and access to services and supports to fully participate in community life.
Changing our ways of thinking and acting to bring about an end to homelessness (not managing it); responding and adapting to changing needs and opportunities; taking a data-informed approach to our action and advocacy to change systems and services to work better for people.
Putting people at the heart of all of our efforts.
Taking collective responsibility and refusing to let a lack of resources be a barrier to action. Our focus is on making progress wherever we can.
Working together across the community using data and evidence to tackle the complexity of homelessness.
Being informed by efforts to end homelessness elsewhere, and using that knowledge to continually drive improvement and share what we learn.
Adopting a growth mindset and recognising that through improvement, we can effect positive change.
Believing we can end homelessness.
Being guided by our Strategy and the Advance to Zero Framework.
Taking actions relevant to me/my organisation and to share what those actions are through our Accountability Framework.
